Walking in it was quite but peaceful vibe. Sat down, very big menu and many options. Started with a honeydew bobba and OMG is was so good. I ordered gyoza and eggrole combo. Very good gyoza literally the best I've had in tacoma egg rolls were good but waant aa much flavor as id hoped for . Then I order the raw beef and brisket phó , it wa s a very large portion broth / juice was absolutely so savory and good. Warms the soul. Overall rating 9.5/10

My favorite pho restaurant!! From the many places I have tried in Tacoma. I would say Pho 38th is my personal favorite. The broth is good, the service is quick, and the portions are very good! Other pho places skimp out on the meat and noodles, but this place does not. I always leave super full. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t already.
We really enjoyed our dinner here. Solid Pho and a lot of variety for other options. Prices were reasonable, portions were great, and service was fast and friendly. We're looking forward to coming back!
They have so many options and open everyday. I had the fried tofu pho and I had the option of noodles choice (rice, egg, or zucchini), I chose zucchini, which was really cool! She also asked if I wanted veggie broth or beef broth. I did get the beef broth and it was so good! My husband got the spicy chicken pho and he really enjoyed it. Kiddo got a side of fries and munched on some bean sprouts. Very satisfied and will be coming back.
Huge portions. Food comes out pretty quickly. Just what you'd expect from a pho diner type restaurant. Thanks! They also serve Korean dishes here too, etc. The meat in the pho doesn't come very rare though.
Pho 38th is conveniently located on 38th Street by the Tacoma Mall. It's on my way to and from the fishing trips at local lakes. So, my five-star rating is based on some of the food I had, which is the combination of pho and beef stew. They put lots of meat in a silver bowl for you. The staff is fairly friendly. The young man that works there, whom I dealt with always smile, asked questions and he joked too. Based on my observation, the staff is friendly, and the pho tasted good. Good portion and the piece is reasonable.
Really like the Pho and Bubble tea here. The broth tasted a little watery and could have had a little more flavor, but all in all, I would recommend. I will be going back for sure!!!
